Happiest Workplaces Around the Globe 2025 is the most comprehensive rating ever published on workplace happiness. The 964 workplaces featured on the list were selected from 18,325 companies across 23 countries, taking sectoral differences into account, and classified accordingly.

The report also includes insights from 803 senior HR executives regarding 2025 HR trends, the challenges they face, and the core strategies they employ. These executives were grouped according to their respective workplaces, allowing a comparison between the Happiest Workplaces and others in terms of distinguishing features.

In the third section of the report, the stock performance of the companies listed as the Happiest Workplaces was analyzed across the US, UK, Germany, France, and Canadian stock markets from 2010 to 2025. These were compared to national benchmark indices to explore the relationship between employee happiness and financial performance.

Happiest Workplaces Around the Globe

This section of the report includes lists of the happiest workplaces in 23 countries. Unlike other lists, the Happiest Workplaces lists are created to take sectoral differences into account. In this context, each company on the country lists should be seen as the happiest in its sector. Of the 18,325 companies included in the World's Happiest Workplaces analysis process, 964 were eligible to be included on the list. The details of the methodology and ranking criteria used are explained in detail in the report. The Country-Based Lists section includes the happiest workplaces in each sector in that country. The Industry Leaders section groups the same companies by sector. In this way, the happiest workplaces in the world in each sector are shown together.

Blueprint of the Happiest Workplaces

This section includes the HR trends in 2025, the challenges they face in ensuring employee happiness, and the basic strategies they use for employee happiness, of the 803 senior HR managers in the Happy Workplaces® network (North America 23%, South America 18%, Asia 5%, Australia 2%, Europe 47%, Africa 5%). Senior HR managers were grouped as listed and unlisted according to the workplaces they work in, and their answers were compared on this basis. In this way, it was determined in which ways the Happiest Workplaces differ from other workplaces.
